marc jacobs is giving me a wee bit of headache at this moment. It is both a good type of headache and a bad one. the bad one is, i'm not realllly a big fan of his latest collections (marc by MJ fall/winter 2010) because to me they are just a yawn yawn wa wa. (some pieces are magnificent of course, but in general they just don't make sense to me. at all. and please don't hate me for this!) and the good one, i love how marc did his male models hair. it's sort of like messy bangs in the front and a morning-after kinda hairdo in the back. Maybe he was trying to reinvent the notorious "mullet" in an edgy modern kinda approach. and it werqed! magically!
still remember the picture of the 'bowl hairdo guy' i posted a couple months ago? Well i think this whole marc jacobs hairdo mayhem is inspired by the 'bowl hairdo guy' on one morning after a hugeass party 5months after he got his bowl hairdo. That would explain the messy bangs in the front and the morning-after hairdo in the back, no? just sayin.
while im writing this post, im kinda trying to picture myself in that hairdo, and when the time comes (which is when my hair is long enough) i wish i would already be able to picture myself werqing the look with no quirkiness whatsoever. fingers crossed, toes crossed, buttcheeks crossed.

i have killed my hobby for quite a while now, and somehow i want to revive it for the holidays ive been 'blessed' with. I only need a few additional 'gears' to boost up my mood, cause my old one is just way too standard. just standard. thing is, a good photographer should not be measured by their 'gears' but their 'skills' instead. It's gotten into everyone's skin. It's pretty hard here in bali to just kinda shoot people around without having them looking at you like you're a kind of wacko-freak with bad purposes. You know, the "hello? i dont wanna be shot, get lost. shoo" kinda look. but you know what? WHATEVAHHH.

what the hale am i afraid of, its not like im trying to do anything remotely bad rite?

it was 5pm already when my girls called me and told me that steve aoki was in town with thecobrasnake to spin the table over at klapa. Rawr. I was uber tired at that time because i just had my new years fuckass party the night before and i have class the next day. but DAMN. Im sorrry but im just not going to let my girls get all the fun while im poorly caged at home drowning over books and shits.
we met MARK of course, and he snapped like, 20 pictures of us, while he was handing us not just one, or two, or three, but TWELVE free stickers. whoa. big thanks.

oh what a night! it was amazing. i love aoki, hes obviously one of the best djs ive danced to in my life. and mark, oh how we love mark and his selby bags full of toxiicc treasures! and As you can guess, the next day i came to class fashionably beyond late half sleeping half dancing.

My eyes are all raccooned due to late night date with books and papers and essays, oh so much LOVE it's not even funny. I don't even deserve my 8hours-of-beauty-sleep anymore, just because 3 is the new 8. finally. after almost a month of waiting, The Sartorialist book that i pre ordered at amazon finally arriveeeeddddd, 1 week ago. It was so funny i did not even recognize the brown packaging because i was busy with initiation. I would not even see the thing if my father hadn't mentioned it to me.

well. ive finished reading all it. three times.
the pictures are fantastic majestic and a little too much of them. At first i expect it to be full of words and illustration wit just some of his shoots. But it turns out tat most of the pages are pictures anyway. Its OK, because i keep on finding something new everything i reread the book. It is a perfect reference for my college outfit because i found so many looks tat i could copy and i could rock at campus.
Highly recommended for those who live the life of street style sartorial.

First Day of College

OMG.
now that inititaions officially over, my life as a college student officially starts.
and tomorrow is going to be my COLLEGE PREMIERE. but i have 1 crucial problem on my shoulder.
I am not ready wimma Outfit.
NOT READY AT ALLLLL.
You have to note that medical is THE place of smart, rich and good-styled people gathering together. I saw my senior carrying chanel 2.55 (idk like where was her laptop? where was her notebook?) and i saw my friend carrying a 3000$ last fall Pink louis vuitton. JEALOUS?
i heard rumours tat my senior would even go to hongkong to get the latest IT pieces from the IT designers. AND noone is wearing THE SAME clothes everyday, so...
how am i going to keep up with that?
as a freshman i need to keep my outfit understated. I am so not allowed to upstage the seniors, as i told you 2 entries before, they won't like it. And we, freshman, also not allowed to bring cars. so i guess im going to be drop-and-pick for the next 1 year. Medical parking-lot is notorious as an outdoor luxurious cars showroom.
BACK TO OUTFIT.
Since JEANS and SNEAKERS and any kind of casual clothing (including shorts for girls) are so banned, i guess that makes half of my closet Useless for my college life.
so Tonight, i am going to stock my self with Cotton-Mix slim-fit Pants, A shit load pair of decent lace ups, and also a shit load of Collared Top (we hafta wear collared-top, any kind of top with collar is fine since T-Shirt is against the rule).
i wish i could go to my campus looking like this

no. I need to hold myself not be sooo notably fashion-forward just for a year!
But i do think that a decent bag is a basic human right for us freshman, especially if the bag looks like this

I am going to go OFF the online world(twitter facebook blogger google everything) now because my medical initiation starts....... TOMORROW!
Holy S. My heart has been beating endlessly since yesterday. I have no Idea what my seniors are going to do to me, no idea abt what are they going to do to poor old me for 2 weeks. 2 TORTUROUS WEEKS.
The written tasks (including lots of daily papers in english and latin, lots of PowerPoints, lots of Analysis) might not published yet... but we've seen the unwritten 'RULES' of med-In Pinned on the unseen announcement board.
there are only 3 simple rules.
1. Seniors are ALWAYS right
2. Every freshmen MUST obey the seniors.
3. if Seniors make mistake go back to rule #1.

I'm having a hard time to believe that it's been almost a YEAR since i dropped out of 6-months fashion course at the notorious Bali Art and Design College. Those design days were so glorious. Tons and tons of anatomy homeworks, textile homeworks, math, bio, phy as if there weren't enaff homeworks on my efing shoulder already. But the thing i miss the most from my D.D (design days) is obviously the fun we (me and my girls) had on ms.diddy's class. I just have to tell you that Ms. Diddy is THE BEST anatomy tutor EVER EVER.
She did not only fill us with fantastic anatomy-skill, but she also taught us everything we need to know about fashion. Fashion 101, as we liked to call it. (click to read more!)

Those 2 Fabulous illustrations were made by Maria(picture on the left) and Elizabeth(picture on the right) and oh how am i so proud of them!!. Ms. Diddy used to tell them how they had a very 'serious' and 'artistic' kinda drawings with intricate and fine details on every sketch. And i envied them because they were the only gurls who could obtain a big juicy 80% on anatomy, while i just could not get higher than 75%(but hey cut me some slacks my other friends got even lower than me. 75% was a major achievement IMO). My drawings, as Ms.Diddy once stated, were more 'Pop' more 'Fun' and less 'artistic'. I had to accept that because i realized that every single person has their own personal style and talent in which 1 need to embrace instead of envying other peoples talent!

Its such a shame that we dropped out of our design course. But we kinda glad we did that, because at that moment we were on our 2nd term of XII grade and College App constantly bothering us and i had a Full-Intensive 35hours a week course after school to prepare for my Big Early-App medical test (in which i miraculously passed) and that was it.... That was the end of our D.D! Now i'll just have to work even harder than i have before because my aim is to be a great dermatologist like that Fabulous Dr.Lisa Airan in her sterling Balmain.

I just broke my flamingo sunglasses. It is such a stupid accident i stupidly placed my baby flam in the very deep bottom of my backpack and then stupidly dumped a super duper thick business and bio text book over it. I thought i heard a 'crack' sound. Turns out i did.
Anyway, let my baby rest in peace shall we?

Wouldn't THAT Giuliano Fujiwara glasses be a perfect replacement to my late baby-flam. oh yeah they would. i would like DIE to land a hand on those, i would trade you my soul for'em. And for jezuth sake that guy looks straight out of jil sander ad aint he?
I am a very careless being when it comes to glasses. be it a sunglasses or an eyeglasses whatever you name it! I also never invest on glasses. Like why would you spend so much on something that you could get in a reasonable price?

IMO Lanvin showed the best glasses of the season. Pieces i would definitely invest my money on. But right now i am focusing my savings on these Prada or Dolce&Gabbana eyeglasses, whichever comes cheaper.

Being in medical demands me to always look fashionably genious at any moment at any price. And the right eyeglasses are VITALLLLLL. The only question is DO i really need a pair when i have one of the Healtiest pair of eyes a human could ever own?

It's all over the news that Indonesia, especially Bali the island in where i am living rite now, has been struck by that virus. I have a friend who has a brother who got infected CREEEEEPPPPYYY. i think it's time for me to wear that VERY bluish greenish silly mask.

Why do bad things (3 knocks on wood) constantly happening to US? Are we wrong tat we demand nothing more than peace. And may GOD send u to the deepest HELL to those suicide-bombers(effing terrorists) who had recently BOMBED the Ritz Carlton Hotel in which the Manchester United squad were supposed to be staying for their 09 Asia Tour in Indonesia. In result they canceled the tour, and hundreds and thousands of devoted United fans shaded their tears. F you! And my friend from Holland told me earlier when we had 1 of the MOST expensive lunch at Ifiori (mental note: to NEVER EVER go there EVER EVER again, 7$ burger) that the night-clubs (in Bali) wouldn't let coloured people IN the club to have some fun, because we are suspicious of carrying explosive materials. And here i am, being one of those so damn bright colourful people. I hope the policy will not last for long.. i Hope Bali is going to be safe. I have no idea why did i even stop reading those books in the first place! Maybe its because of Summer(i been spending most days lurking around beaches or doing photoshoot) or Fashion Magazines(spcialy the free give-away 1) seem to be more interesting than books scribbled with tiny words.Sorry to say, but I am no bookworm with a horn-rimmed glasses carrying around 5kilos worth of paper and ideas...

I am in no relationship breakdown, im not even dating anyone ATM,basically i just don't know how this book got into my bookshelves im downrite clueless.
2. The Kite Runner (Khaled Hosseini)
It's a magnificent magnificent book. I wept at pretty much every chapter of it. But once the story went too far from my pure expectation, i fashionably stopped.
3. Hard Love (Wittlinger)
I haven't even started this one yet... No interest watsoever
4. The Miracle of Enzym (Dr. Hiromi Shinya)
My Dad had this idea about reading a shitload of medical-related books for my further study relevance.. Dad please, one that points out that life is nothing but your gastrovascular digestive system is enough already!
5. The One Hundred (Nina Garcia)
Probably the 1 i'll continue as soon as i have the time to.. Nina is brilliant! I'm still waiting for the Sartorialist book tho(get the pre-order price in amazon NOW. thx to bryanboy!). My consumerism related to anything fashion and fabulousity is way beyond insanity.

I have been pretty busy the previous week, u know, summer! In less than 2 weeks all of my friends are leaving me. Maria and Elizabeth are going to jakarta to pursue communication, DT and fonny and UT management, Sam (which already left) visual communication design, while good ol me stay here in Bali to pursue pre-medical. I just cannot waste a precious minute without them. This is basically our last summer together. Except ,of course, in Bali it's like summer all year long. I mean of COURSE there are a lot of fun stuffs that you can do there, like surfin and boogie boardin, but at that moment the waves weren't really supportive and we went a lil bit too late (it was like 4 P.M) and it was football day so...... INSTEAD, lurkin in our seat would do just as great as wanderin lookin fer some argentinian footballers. HAH! 66 beach perfectly suits us sinner. Hitting the street can be rough sometimes. Specially when you encounter people who just DON'T speak english with no reason. That what happened to me when me and my fella hit the oberoi street in hopes of finding some ferocity down there.
It was near 12 p.m, the sun literally burned us up. We were SO xhausted we had been wandering the street like almost 5 friken times. I got so annoyed coz DT wouldn't stop asking for more strawberry yogurts and Fonny got all fussy about getting sunburned i was like SHUT THE HELL UP i AM EXHAUSTED TOO LIKE Ya'll DO.
And that was when i saw this fantabulez lady lookin oh so CHIC in her empire dress and a pair of comfy havaianas. But what i liked most about her was how her hair kinda peeked out underneath her wide-trimmed sunhat. She had that hair similar to what agyness deyn has. We obviously hurried ourselves to approach her. She was with her Husband/BF.
The conversation went pretty much like this.

Manandboys: Xcuse me! Hy im a fashion blogger, and im out looking for good styled people on the street and i think your get up is super chic and fierce, and i would love to feature you in my blog. So, can i get a shot?
BF: (muttering in other language to the lady)

Model Off Duty - strawberry yogurt in oberoi. WTF?

DT. Being 1 of my model and best friend. We've been best friends since 1st grade. Such an old hag we are! I mean, we are on a level of friendship when we are able to complete each other sentences. In other words, we already know each other way of thinking. Scary huh? It is always fun to hangout with him (even sometimes he gets all fussy about his outfit, like GET A GODDAMN GRIP girl..) because we will always have something to talk about. Mostly people. HA! So sorry lord fer we always make fun of people. But hey it IS fun to make fun of people. No. It is not. okay you bloody retard. Anyway, regardless all the confusion and the fashion 101 emergency, at the end of the day, he will pull off everything that he wears with confident and fierceness.

Anyway, we were trying to fetch some fiercely-styled people in oberoi street.Usually, I would be the photographer and DT would assist me on the interview. But unforrrrrtunately, we were unfortunate. DUH. We didn't see THAT much good-styled people.Partly, because we hit it wayy too late (they were all of preparing themselves for dinner) and the rest because everyone was being SO DAMN casual in beachwear. like HELLO?? we know its summer but at least put some effort to LOOk good you moron!

But all of a sudden out of nowhea emerged this FIERCE lady. In her tulip dress and caged gladiator. I immediately run for the diamond and scream "excuseeeeeee moiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii". Lame, i know. To cut the story short. That lady was soooooooooo cooooooool she smiled and laughed and said "i'm sorry i don't like people taking my picture. SO SORRY..".

I skipped gym today, cuz i wasn't feeling so great to hit 30 mins of treadmill and 30 mins of bike and some more weights. I had a flu. And the best way to overcome it is to take a good long rest. Watching the tellies is ,obviously, my definition of a good and long rest. I went thru the channels over and over and the ohgodforbid RADJA CILIK band played on the now-happening music playlist program on SCTV or Indosiar i forgot.

It was awful i dunno WHY did raja torture this kids for the sake of i dont know what in the first hand. And they COULDNT SING! im telling you it was awful. bleh. I could tell that they were Lip-singing by the fact that the 4 years old guitarist didnt even TOUCH the strings. WTF kiddo!! make effort!! And also seeing such toddlers already got their hair DYED made me wanna p-uke-uh. HUEK.
And, to make matters worse, the band that played after Radja Cilik was no better, PANGERANKU. Apparently they share the same management. Radja Cilik and Pangeranku.. ah. my flu got worse and worse.

OF course my favorite kiddo band is the Lucky Laki.

I love the 'Superman' song. My gym featured it over and over until it stuck on my head. Theyre fabulous and they can sing and they really played the instrument! and their videomusic are awesome. FULL-ON fish eye start to end. Good Job Ahmad Dhani!

Super Exclusive Review : Knowing

Its so unlikely of me to go to the cinema on saturdays (the costs insane).Yesterday was supposed to be my then-french course place Fete De la Musique(Music Festival) in which i was planning to attend but my friend kinda canceled in the last minute leaving me wit noshit to do on the weekend. how pathetic.

So instead i went watchin my my other girls pinky and indah.

The beginning of the movie was kinda creepy, exposing this phsyco student(beautifully named Lucinda Embry) who could hear scary whispers. And then it was drawing class. When the other pupils were busy sketching things like robot and spaceship (oh, just so u kno, this scene dates back in the '59 i kinda confused like why on earth do they have any idea about how a robot looked like) lucinda engaged herself in making mysterious rows of random cryptic numbers. ew. creepy. And 50 years later, John Koeslters'(nicolas kurungan alias nicolas cage) son, caleb, got the notes that lucinda made. After a few failure attempts, nicolas finally discovered the hidden message inside lucindas scribble. The numbers apparently encode precies dates,death tolls AND coordinates of every Major Major disaster tats happened in the last 5 decades. AND it also foretold 3 more additional disaster tats yet to happen.

I bitterly have to say, the effect was TERRIFYING, specially the PLANE CRASH oh my god imagine a 10000ft plane maneuvering towards yerself in SUCH a high velocity. uh oh theres no turning back ladies. SO REAL!!! 1 thing i remorse watchin this movie was (again) the ending. IT was GROSS and OH SO BAD. I mean, the hey-people-this-is-the-end-of-the-world-now-save-ur-asses part was surely magnificent but, producer u need alot to explain, Nicolas didnt have ta die did he? i HATE it when the main role of the film just DIE so weakly. such a bad bad badass ending.

the movie gave a clear preview of how would this earth meet its death. A solar flare. rite. Y kno tat our beloved sun constantly xploding radiation in its surface ait? well, in this movie, apparently the xplostion went WAYYY BEYOND the M.I.T professors hd xpected, it reached the earth. OUCH. and the earth just u kno BURNED in a blink of an eye. I mean of corse there were exaggerations here and there. but surely GOD knows a better way to destroy our mother earth than a solar flare ait?
like maybe GOD shalt produce a 12inch Loubutin Stilletos Rain or GOD bombs every Louis Vuitton factory and the LV speedy bag just scattered allover the place and all the loubutins stab our head and everyone dies in Luxury....

If my review is unsatisfying (which is totally true) u can go and watch the movie yerself, fell the thrill and find out that life is just a string of random accident and biological mutaion.

Ya remember tt I posted an entry about how my models love my blog, well, theres actually more of the picts than those 3 i posted. These picts below are hilghly editorial, with quotes taken mostly frem nina garcias "the One hundred" book (fabulous fabulous MUSTVE book) and the rest are strictly naomi campbells (my male model see her as his role model, so i kinda tucked some of the things she'd said during a random interview with carlos). In this black-background project, i really want to accentuate natural black and white fashion photography in its own right. I never find neither black or white as a color. Black and White are Black and White. They have their own road, taking no other colors turn. When everbody claims a color is the new that color, black and white remain the same. Black and white also resemble classic and timeless style. And ain't nothing beats a classic style. NOTHING. naff said.

Hello im a total amateur in this field. We had some fun shooting, but the street was full of moving vehicle so it was so hard to get the building all by itself, there had to be a car or a bike freezed inside it.

If i have to recall, every silly moments that happened to me came at such an unexpected time in such an unexpected place. I clearly know that bad things cannot be avoided, it just happened! And the good thing about bad thing is that you LEARN. seriously.

Warung Ochas SO COZY the foods good and they come at an affordable price. No need to splurge 10Thou for a bottle of FRkin Aqua. So I had this terrible terrible accident when i was still in primary school grade 4. I stumbled and fell my face hit the frigin ground first. With god's forsaken bless i fucked up my teeth. Theyre bleeding and broke into lil disgusting susan-boyle's like fraction. EW.
My parent's instinct toldem to take me to the not-the-typical-nearest Hospital. WRONG MOVE. The inexperienced nurse plainly Diagnosed that my teeth cannot be "resurrected"(otherwords theyre dead) and in need of immediate "action of replacement"(otherwords take em out and plug a pair of brand new bugs-bunny teeth). My parents were like no no.yo nurse you MORON. How do you even breath? Youre just speaking on behalf of the absent doctor and ya got no rite watsoever regarding the shit yer trying to mess wit my Sons teeth. were outta here.

Finally we found a dentist that could fix those teeth probs. And up until now (for almost 7 years) i still need to visit him once in a while to check on how my teeth are doin what shits i been eatin and the Qtions go on and on and on and susan boyle on and on.

I've seen so many bad reviews about this movie.. but IMO this movie is SUCH a breath of fresh air... I mean i've been inhaling O2 since ferever but this HSM 3 is a whole new different substance ya can pour to yer Lung.

Of corse, papa, the movies still starred by the notorious couple Troy and Gabriella or we can just say Troyella and all of his entourage (including my Fav the Twin Sharpay and Ryan). OMG. the soundtracks were AWSOME i could just DANCE and SING while im shittin on the toilet. Theyre Catchy but yet Sooooo dynamic and they just stuck in yer head. My fav is of COURSE "now and never" , and then, "i want it all" and the prom song and then the Troyella's duet. Familiar with hastosa the photographer? i mentioned him in one of my entries when we did this studio photo shoot and i had that interviews wit the models? well he kinda had this photo shoot project with "alice in wonderland" as the theme. He tagged me along wit him so i can watch and learn a thing or two about photography, a field in which i am not really familiar with. YET. Also comin wit us, hastosa's bestfriend benji wit her super profe nikon. I was tryin to keep up wit wat they were doin but benji and hastosa were SOOO into it i kinda just got left behind. So the shots that i did were all out of theme. Regardless of the Moustache Girl that told us to pay 500k to do this kinda shoot, we had SO MUCH FUN! SCREW you BITCH im gon shave all of yer moustache once i see yer stupid fat face again.

Another boring Monday for another movie. NOT so hiily anticipated tho.
X-men Origins : Wolverine, a prequel of the three of the previous X-Mens' movies. The movie was nothing but a LOUD, muscle-on-display, wars and numerous fights and actions of creepy mutants. ew. But the origins as the tittle suggests? not so MUCH. The movie did not deliver as much information as possible about The Wolverine. Because all i kno about the Wolv is that he had a half bro (victor) and as a kid he witnessed a murder in his household and he got into wars and then he served his country on a so-called mission to save millions of life that turned out to be a mere conspiracy. RITE be4 a torturous journey on a revenge of his beloved kyla which actually did not even die. Underwent a crazy medical experiment, Adamantium injection throughout his body, his claws were no longer a bunch of an old lady nails but a powerful cut-all solid metal claws. And thats it guys. It didnt even have a GOOD ending which is why i kinda hate this movie. But fer ya action lovers it would not be a waste of money..
Overall, i'll give wolverine 31/2 outta millions of stars out there in the sky.

No. Its not too early to be buzzin about what im going to wear to SMANSA's Graduation Party. I know that the shits gon be on the 15th of june, but DUH it takes a lot of preparation (or fashion people would say: prevision) and before you know it, tommorow IS the 15th of june.
As you guys have prolly known, the dresscode for the party can be either batik or a suit. Well, personally, its not a hard option i can definitely WERQ both of the looks. I Personally would go for a rather soft tailoring (a blazer over a T-shirt) but Grad Party is more formal than i tot it was so basically soft tailoring is outta the list. You guys should prolly know by now that whether an event is formal or not can be determined by what the guys are wearing. If the guys are wearing a suit with A TIE(note this) then it shud be formal. A tie is like an icon fer formality. So get yerself a fierce tie now.

i was strollin down the bonsai cafe on my way to Circle K to get a gulp of fresh drink when i got these 2 beautiful model-like ladies droppin my effin jaw down. It might not be as fashion as what the Vogue mag would offer but it is surely a one-of-a-kind personal style.

Eliz: yellow is definitely a color that would look just good when yer hangin around in bali. But not so many people can pull a yellow as its a very strong and vivid color. But she definitely pulled the shit off.
Maria: blues always been my fav color. Most of my polos are in blue and its families (turqoise, and midnite, and so on) but it's not THAT easy to wear a head to toe blue without lookin to much like Pegawai PAM u need an extra splash of other color. The nude color belt gave a chic touch to the whole look.

CONGRATULATION TO ME!

God, i have never been happier in my LIFE till today. The defining moment.Now i can clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel. And now I'm definitely on top of the rocky mountain i been climbin' since oh since FOREVER. But the world doesn't end here. The butterfly has just hatched from its pupa and now is out to see the world. And i JUST got accepted @ Medical University Of Udayana and nothin else matters. Not even that bloody butterfly.

You know what? It's always been me dream to get into medical. It's not like a childish kinda dream where u just say what u wanna be witot really doin anyshit.It's the dream of the dream.i mean, DUH i worked my ASS off (my ass need a FRIGGIN rest nw) fer like 3 years nw hello? I worked SO very very very HARD fer the last 3 years. I been studyin EVERYDAY everynite unconditionally. I studied frem 9Pm to 11Pm and then i WOKE up @3 Am and continue to study! I drank CUPS AND CUPS of coffee i basically had coffee running in my blood vessels. I've NEVER flunked a subject (well i did.. but fer once or twice). Always helpin people(some) in my class on every exam(not EVERY exam but most exams). And now ya can say ANYTHING that cha want bout me and I'm not gon give ANY SHIT cuz lemme tell you, Me getting into medical WORTH every single hour of torturous study, EVERY single drop of coffee, EVERY spare time id lost, EVERY money my parents hd wasted fer school. It just WORTH IT.

ew. I just learned a lesson that we just CAN'T always get wat we want and we have noo idea about wat will happen to us and eveeerrything culd happen to ya ina minute. Lesson learned and the wheel keep turning, rite the killer?

Neway, i just had another bad day outta million im gon have(JIKPING pang joh). i was drivin my lil baby scooter on my way to the Gym (my bodys getting sooooooooooo outta shape and summers getting soooooooooooo effing close) when all of a sudden my back wheel leaked. HELLLOOOO?? talkin bout BAD LUCK?? In the middle of nowhere. Thank GOD i immediately found a garage and i quickly told the owner to fix my baby scooter. "the wheel leaked" i said. "yeh i can tell" he replied. DUH sir. DUHHH
like any other professional engineer, he quickly diagnosed that the wheels soo busted and i am soo gon need a new one. i said OKAY just fix it dude no matter wat it takes. But sadly he only had a used wheel. i asked him whether it was still in good condition or not and he said yes so i agreed to use it. thank god he started to fix the thing up. he did his job wit SUCH skill and grace only an experienced engineer culd do.

but GODAMMMIT he was SOOO DAMN SLOW. i was like yo OLD MAN CHOP CHOP I GOT A BODY TO BUILD AND YER WASTING MY TIME AND oh FOR CHRIST SAKE MOVE IT BOY, SNAP SNAP!!!!! it took nearly an hour fer him to get everything done and done.

So tell me, if theres anything you can do, on a sunny Saturday afternoon, besides doing a crazy photo shoot @ DJ studio? i bet ya aint got no shittt to tell me! So me and my ferosha friends took a visit to a nearby photo-studio (on hayam wuruk street RITE next to circle K) for just another photo shoot in a million were gon do this summer (hey, summer starts RITE after UAN ends). it was fun fun funnn! it wasnt like that normal and lame photo-studio where all the models strike a pose on a Victorian-era style sofa. it was more like High-Fashion editorial kind of thing. we glammed up, literally. we put on some heavvvyy make ups and some killler outfits and we did it like every professional model always do, minus the designer clothes, minus the fashion-editor(we did every thing ourselves), minus this and minus that.. but still, WE WERQED IT!

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH ELIZ AND MARIA

Exclusive interview with two of my fiercest friends and models, Elizabeth and Maria. Lets hear what they think about fashion and find out why both of them LOVE the Balmain Spring/Summer of 2009 collections.

ELIZ

MANANDBOY: So, tell me what is it that you love about fashion?

ELIZ : I love the clothes. I absolutely love how you can express yourself through your clothes. How there are so many possibilities and how there are so many kinds of things. It doesn’t stay the same. There’s always something new and exciting going on with it.

MANANDBOY: Who is your favorite designer?

ELIZ : Um, I love balmain, the french house. And, I also like Zac Posen, I love Zac Posen. And I like some Alexander Wangs’ stuffs.

MANANDBOY: Your role model in the fashion industry?

ELIZ : Well, my fashion hero is Kimora Lee Simmons. She is who I ultimately want to be like. She is a fashion mogul and she has her own business and that’s what I want to do fo sho.

MANANDBOY: Describe your personal style in 3 words!

ELIZ : It’s sophisticated, and simple, but also chic.

MANANDBOY: Tell me your essential piece in your wardrobe right now!

ELIZ : Well, right now, my essential piece is a high-waisted skirt

MANANDBOY: You must have seen some of the reviews of the Spring-Summer 09 collections, right? Now, which designer do you think delivered the best collection?

ELIZ : Uh. Well I think, I love Stella McCartney

MANANDBOY: Why Stella McCartney?

ELIZ : It’s obviously because I love how she does very simple clothes, but very exquisite, so sophisticated and also rich in texture. It’s ready to go and she made some wonderful blazers which I love. And that’s why I think she’s the best right now.

MANANDBOY: Is there any Key or a NoteToSelf to be fashionable?

ELIZ : Well, you just have to have confident! You also have to know what works with your body and your personality!

MANANDBOY: Okay,so now a little bit of trivia. I’m going to say a name, and you’re going to say your reaction about that name, ready?

ELIZ : Okay.

MANANDBOY: Taylor Swift.

ELIZ : Country. I think she’s a little innocent, and her fashion icon is Cameron Diaz. So, uh, I don’t know about that!!

MANANDBOY: Sienna Miller.

ELIZ : Chic. Very London and very chic.

MANANDBOY: J-Lo

ELIZ : Uh, ghetto.And I would have to say Ghetto Fabulous!

MARIA

MANANDBOY: So, tell me what is it that you love about fashion?

MARIA : Well, I love fashion because you can express what you’re feeling that day or what you’re going through with what yer wearing! It also expresses who you are as a person and it’s so vital, very Vital in you everyday living.

MANANDBOY: Who is your favorite designer?

MARIA : I have a lot of favorite designers! Like it changes through season, like what I se…

MANANDBOY: I mean, right now, like tell me 1 or 2 of them.

MARIA : Right now? I love Balmain, I love their jackets and their pants and I also love Marchesa and…

MANANDBOY: What do you love about Marchesa?

MARIA : The dresses! I just love the dresses! Their dresses, it’s just like a girls dream to have one of their dresses! And I also like, uh…

MANANDBOY: Herve Leger?

MARIA : Yes! I love Herve Leger. The bandage dresses are so in right now. And Stella McCartney, I love her for doing chloe also, and, uh, a little bit of Lanvin.

MARIA : It’s simple, and classic, and chic.

MANANDBOY: Is there any essential piece in your wardrobe right now?

MARIA : Yes! LBD. I think LBDs in every season at the day, in every year it’s in! it’s classic.

MANANDBOY: And, in your opinion, who did the best Spring-Summer’09 collections?

MARIA : The best SS’09 collections? Well, I’ve gotta say Balmain. I love it because it’s just so creative. It’s so innovative and they picked something So essential and they just Give it and Sparkle it and bedazzle it, like the jacket! The pointed army jacket, I really love it!

MANANDBOY: And your role model in the fashion industry?

MARIA : It would have to be Tyra Banks.

MANANDBOY: Tyra banks??? But why?

MARIA : Well, I think it’s because she just such a tycoon. She does everything and she picks everything herself and she just werqs it, you know, she just WERQS IT! And, so I love that she does controll her stuff and everything

MANANDBOY: A key to be fashionable?

MARIA : Dress as you are, as whatcha like and don’t go with the trend! Like, because no every trend goes witcha, so you have to be it! It can be you!

MANANDBOY: So now a little bit of trivia for you gurl. Now im gon give ya some names and ya gotta give a reaction to that name, ready?

MARIA : Okay

MARIA : Well, uh, its like fashion but yet in her own way. It’s all her own way it doesn’t have to be with the trend.

Gurl, as fierce as you guys are rite now, thers somethin about yer Role models in fashion tat tingles me.. KIMORA and TYRA? yo girl, BOTH are possibly the ghettoest model EVER born. TBH, i was expecting names like Anna Wintour, Lily Donaldson or wtever but name that goes all the way from the ghetto. but still, you guys ARE FIERCE and LOVE ya'll!!

Dewata Streets Burning All Nite Long

so. i was drivin my scooter tryna get home safely when i heard a siren sooo LOUD my ears literally ringing like crazy. it was the fire fighter obviously. when i took a left turn to dewata street and i gazed to my rite thinkin " wat in hell happenin". And then " JESUSH CHRIST!" yeh. a fire. like literally burned the building.. i took some snaps while tryna make some distant from the buildin in case it mite BLOW up and suddenly Bom Bali 3 is the new swine flu. i mean ,goddamit, a fire in Dewata street? till the moment i write this shit, there r still no clear information about the victims and that property-lost stuff.

Its the ghettoest sinetron EVER..ITs about this gheto girl named muslimah and she gets laughed at alot and teased so much..she also gets tortured by the girl on the left. Her husband, the man on the right, is a small employee, not so fortunate. Theres only one interesting thing about this whole gheto ensemble which is the fact that its all in arabic..Watch it in indosiar every night at 7 pm.DONT MISS IT! ENJOY wasalam
